Coldplay, Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna and Tini all on a track together? I doubt many of us had this collab on our bingo card for 2024, but “We Pray” has given us the biggest superstar link-up of the year so far.
The internationally-loved indie-rock band are due to release their tenth studio album, Moon Music, on October 4, and their latest single, “We Pray”, has raised anticipation to new levels. The single itself is a stirring experience, with choir sections, roaring vocals from Burna Boy and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and a riveting rap verse from Little Simz all coming together to make a track that will no doubt leave a strong impression on listeners.
Tini and Elyanna’s contributions to the track can’t be overlooked either, the latter a Palestinian-Chilean artist who blends Arabic music with pop and R&B, and the former an Argentinian singer, songwriter, actress and model in her own right. Fun fact: Jay-Z (!) is also listed as a songwriter. With all of these different demographics represented on the song, “We Pray” will likely hit all the right notes with fans across the globe.
