Central Cee has linked up with Parisian rapper JRK 19 for his new single, “Bolide Noir”.
With Cench being the hottest name in UK rap right now and JRK 19 being one of the hottest names in the French music scene, this team-up makes a lot of sense. The two rappers go back to back over Harrison Dock’s violin-led trap production, flossing and flexing in their respective tongues but forming a bi-lingual chemistry as they do so.
“Bolide Noir” is due to be on heavy rotation in France and beyond, but this isn’t the first time that Cench has teamed up with French artists: in 2021, he linked up with Freeze Corleone for “Polémique”, and, last year, he connected with Ashe 22 for “Anthracite”. However, “Bolide Noir” might just be the best out of the bunch.
It seems that Central Cee is intent on world domination and the stats suggest that he’s well on his way. In fact, his discography has recently surpassed the billion mark, and to celebrate, he dropped “Billion Streams Freestyle”. His international appeal has no doubt helped him reach this milestone; Cench has featured on songs with Asake, Ice Spice and Lil Baby in recent months, all of which has taken him to new levels of popularity.
