M1llionz Recruits Dexta Daps For Dancehall-Drill Cut “Wah Gwan”

From the UK to JA!

M1llionz may have been born in the UK’s second city of Birmingham, but he’s putting on for Jamaica with his new single, “Wah Gwan”.

Over swooning 808s and skittering hi-hats (courtesy of producer 3laack), M1llionz flips from his Brum Town lilt to deep patios seamlessly, gliding over the riddim with total ease. As if to hammer home the point of his heritage, M1llionz calls on dancehall star Dexta Daps to deliver a fire chorus and the track’s final verse.

“Wah Gwan” is a big and boastful return for M1llionz. In 2023, he released a brief EP called Gap Year, which spoke to the highs and lows of the newfound fame music has brought him.

It seems that he’s now gearing up to give us a full-length follow-up to his successful debut mixtape, 2021’s Provisional Licence. While we wait for more details on that, check out the visuals for “Wah Gwan” above.
