ODUMODUBLVCK Blasts The Critics On Grimey New Track “Not All That”

The Naija MC continues his love affair with UK grime on hard-hitting new single.

ODUMODUBLVCK is back and he’s got an axe to grind.

The Nigerian MC’s new single, “Not All That”, takes on a grime-inspired riddim as he claps back at the critics and elders of the music industry on home soil.

ODUMO has had his ear pressed to the UK scene for a while now, and has collaborated with UK favourites like Skepta (aka his “twin”) and Unknown T in recent years. Though his last joint, “Jabo”, was a team-up with fellow Nigerian Boj, “Not All That” returns to the UK sounds that continue to inspire him.

Showcasing his versatility with a jump from Afrobeats to grime both subverts expectations and claps back at the critics and OGs who he says continue to underestimate him.

Playing to that incisive energy and dynamism, the one-shot video, which was directed by PLACES+FACES co-founder and all-round creative genius Ciesay, follows ODUMO from his flat to the streets, surrounded throughout by a throng of supporters.

Watch the video for “Not All That” above and expect to hear this one everywhere for the rest of summer (and beyond).
